The traditional approach to nutrition training uses a reductionist approach starting with nutrients and building through the life stages and then on to the various disease conditions. The disease focus has been on the absence of disease and the prevention of risk factors. The Functional approach is more concerned with performance and productivity and the term „functional‟ implies a progression towards optimum health in a practical way. People often say “I already know what to do but have difficulty in doing it”. We will cover not only WHAT is to be done but more importantly HOW this can be achieved.
Level 3 is pre-requisite for the higher levels of training. And can be done online or face-to-face.
